How to read your Pay Stub: The pay stub you access online will look similar to this one: In the Top Half of the Pay stub you will find: #1 #3 #2 1) Date of Payment 2) Your Employee Number and Name 3) Net Pay deposited #4 #6 #7 #5 On the bottom half you will find: 4) Employee Number and Name 5) Hours worked : You receive 2.5hrs per student per week 6) Vacation Pay Allowance : 6% of Gross Earnings 7) Dates for which you are being paid **Stat Holidays are paid in ADVANCE of the Holiday in keeping with SERVICE CANADA regulations. 5% of your pay is allotted to each pay cheque in the 30 days prior to the Holiday. Your stat pay will work out to 5% of Earnings in the 30 Days Prior to the stat. On the pay period where no Stat occurs, you will see an “in and out” transaction that may net to a few cents. Please remember that this means you will be paid.
