A direct link to the library’s Discovery OPAC is also located on each student’s computer desktop for ease of access. The library staff assists all library patrons (students, faculty, and staff) in locating references and in using the OPAC. The OPAC is the first hyperlink under resources of the library’s web page and is entitled J. S. Flipper Library Catalog. This link was edited for updates in 2012. Regular and ongoing updates are performed. The library catalog contains records of print books, eBooks, DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks. In addition to access to all cataloged items, the OPAC contains a host of valuable resources and useful links. Access to search the library’s catalog, the university’s home web page, the library’s web page, the Virtual Library, the Digital Library, self-service and social media forums are available on the OPAC Discovery page.
