Excursions This Past Month
During the month of December we hosted the
Annual Christmas Tree Dive at Beaver Harbor.
This event is a fantastic way for the divers from
the area to celebrate a bit of Christmas together
and this year there were 7 divers out to brave the
cold, some sporting Santa Hats! Some divers
even had wetsuits on!! All divers got to sit on
Santa’s knee for a picture and a wish; and we all
got in for a dive or two!
Special thanks to Patrice Charette, a local diver
and good buddy of COJO for bringing a huge
shelter and a propane heater to warm up and cook
hot chocolate during and after the diving!
Towards New Year’s Eve, we headed to Bar Harbor for an awesome excursion
with The League of Underwater Superheroes. While there, we taught a DAN
DEMP Course and completed a fantastic dive from a shore site in the area.
Thanks very much to Captain Evil Edna, Diver Ed and all of the Superheroes
and Super people in Bar Harbor!
Congratulations to Michael Joy, Joe Pagan, Diver Ed Monat, Maurice Libner,
Wayne Printy, Edna Martin and Phil Richter on completing the DAN DEMP
Course! Great Job!!
To the guys that aren’t in the picture, SORRY!! We messed it up!! You were awesome!!
