Finding Equivalent Fractions
Fractions that name the same number are equivalent fractions. To find equivalent fractions, you
can multiply or divide the numerator and denominator by the same nonzero number.
Examples: Replace the
with a number so that the two fractions are the equivalent.

first fraction by 5.
