Purchasing and Installing Microsoft Office after purchase
To access the Microsoft Home Use Program Web site:
1. Go to http://www.microsofthup.com/
2. Select the country to which you want your order "shipped" and choose the language for viewing the order Web site.
3. Enter your district e-mail address and insert the following program code: E7CF656B99
Note: This program code is assigned to our organization for our sole use in accessing this site. You may not share this
number with anyone outside our organization.
4. Place your order online, and it will be "shipped" to the district FirstClass e-mail address you have entered. (Please
note that a fulfillment fee will be charged to cover "packaging, shipping, and handling costs"; however, the items are not
physically shipped to a mailing address, but instead "shipped" to the district FirstClass email address that you have
provided.) 5. After you receive your confirmation email, you will be able to download and install your program. See
attached for detailed instructions.
NOTE: You will only be allowed one download per employee.
MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS DOWNLOAD PROCESS ON THE COMPUTER WERE YOU WANT MS OFFICE TO BE INSTALLED.
You will only get 1 chance at doing this process.
When you get your email receipt, click on Office Professional Plus English to download the
installation program. Once the installation program is downloaded, double click on it to start
installing MS Office.
During the install process, you will
see the “Activate Office”
Window. Do not enter an email
address, click on the “Enter a
Product Key instead” option that
is under the Next button.
Your 25 Character product key is
located in the email that was sent
to you.
Next, you will see the setting screen; pick “Use recommended settings” for
this option and click on Accept at the bottom right of the window.
You will also get an option to set up One Drive (cloud Storage option) if you
want to set it up but you don't have to set this up at this time, you can click
on the “no thanks, maybe later” and move on with the install.
When you see the “You can use Office now” window, you can start using your Office
programs. If you are using a Windows 8 computer, you may have to find the Office
programs and “pin” them to your taskbar or right click on them and pick “send to” and
pick desktop. You can find the office programs located in Program Files/Microsoft
Office 15/root/office15 folder.
