Driving Directions
Erie and the surrounding areas
Take I-79 south to Rt. 422 east to Ebensburg. Proceed into town. Turn
left at light (Otto Mart will be on your right). Continue straight at next light in
the center of town at the intersection of High Street and Center Street. Turn
left at light onto Manor Drive (Best Gas Station on left). Take this road past
the Laurel Crest Manor approximately 6 miles to University entrance on right.
Cleveland
Take I-80 east (Ohio Turnpike) to I-79 South. Travel 422 east to Ebensburg.

From Northeastern Pennsylvania/Central New Jersey Take I-80 south to I-80 west to exit 161 (Bellefonte). Take US99/Rt. 220 south
approximately 50 miles to Altoona and Rt. 22 west. Take Rt. 22 west to Lilly/
Portage exit. Turn right onto Rt. 53 north. Continue on Rt. 53 north
approximately two miles to traffic light (Sheetz on left). Turn left at light and
continue beneath railroad overpass. 200 yards beyond overpass, bear right
at Saint Francis University sign onto St. Joseph Street. Take this road four
miles to Loretto. At Village Cross monument on traffic circle, bear left. Saint
Francis University entrance is 200 yards on left.
Baltimore, Washington, DC and Virginia Take I-270 north to I-70 west to Breezewood. Take PA Turnpike (I-76) west to
Bedford (220 North/I-99 North) exit. Turn left after toll booth. At top of the
hill, turn left onto Rt. 220 north to Altoona. Follow exit marked Rt. 22,
Ebensburg/Hollidaysburg. Take Rt. 22 west to Lilly/Portage exit. Turn right on
Rt. 53 north. Turn left at the first traffic light (at Sheetz). 200 yards beyond
overpass, bear right at “Saint Francis University” sign onto St. Joseph Street.
Take this road 4 miles to Loretto. At Village Cross monument on traffic circle,
bear left. University is roughly 200 yards on the left.
Within 30 minutes of campus, there are 3 state parks, 4 biking/walking trails, 1 minor
league baseball team, 1 indoor football team, and 1 minor league hockey team. Within
60 minutes are 4 downhill ski resorts. Pittsburgh, and all its attractions, is just 90 miles
west.

Turn right out of the main entrance of the University. Travel through Loretto (bear right at circle with
monument) and travel approximately 4 miles to the first stop sign. Turn left into Cresson (Dollar General on

overpass. Immediately following the railroad overpass turn left onto Front Street. Vito’s is in the fourth block

Bear right onto the ramp leading to 22 East towards Blairsville, Pittsburgh. Travel approximately 3-4 miles,
past the intersection to the Wal-Mart Plaza, to the next large intersection (McDonald’s and Wendy’s on
right). Turn left at this light and follow sign to the Ebensburg Mini Mall. Travel to the next stop sign. Turn right
at the stop sign onto New Germany Road. The Mini Mall is located directly on your right. Off the Rak is the
last building on the right.

Parking
When pulling into the main entrance of Saint Francis University, follow Evergreen Drive to the first stop sign. Take a right
onto Pineview Drive. The Admissions Visitor parking is located immediately on your left, next to the Pasquerilla Library.
Admissions Visitor parking signs will designate the parking spaces. We ask that you please print, cut, and fill out the
temporary parking permit and display so it is visible from your front windshield. Overflow parking is available, down the
hill behind the library, on Lakeview Drive. Admissions Office
The Saint Francis University Admissions Office is located in Padua Hall, which is directly across from the Immaculate
Conception Chapel and between Sullivan Hall and Scotus Hall.
John F. Kennedy Student Center
The John F. Kennedy Student Center is located on Evergreen Drive next to the DeGol Field and directly across from Saint
Agnes Residence Hall.
