OFFICIAL RULES OF THE GRANITE GETAWAY SECOND CHANCE DRAWING ENTRY RULES: Any non-winning “Granite Getaway” instant scratch game (#1299) may be entered into one of two second chance drawings as described below. To be eligible, a player must complete and submit the electronic entry form located on the New Hampshire Lottery Commission (Commission) website located at: www.nhlottery.com/BPS. Information that must be submitted includes: the player’s name, mailing address, phone number, and valid e-mail address; the serial number of the non-winning “Granite Giveaway” game ticket and the three digit ticket number. This 13 digit number can be found at the bottom front of the non-winning ticket in the scratch off area and the three digit ticket number may be found on the bottom right of the ticket in the white box; certification that the player is at least 18 years of age; certification that the player understands that all aspects of the game are subject to these game specific rules as well as all applicable state laws and regulations, or the Terms of Use and Privacy Statement, found at https://www.nhlottery.com/Terms-Conditions.aspx, and https://www.nhlottery.com/Privacy-Statement.aspx respectively. The only method of entry into this drawing is via the Commission website. Entries submitted by any other method, shall be disqualified and discarded. The player may submit more than one entry per drawing, but the serial number and ticket number from any non-winning game ticket may only be entered one time. There are no restrictions as to the number of entries of non-winning game tickets that may be entered, but each individual ticket can only be entered once, and entries must be filed in only one individual’s name. A player does not need to retain the game ticket(s) they submitted as proof of eligibility to claim their prize. All entries are subject to validation by the Commission or its promotional partner, Alchemy 3 (A3), and may be disqualified if eligibility requirements are not met. Entries of game ticket serial numbers determined to be in a stolen/missing inventory status or not part of a valid sold, activated or promotional inventory status shall be disqualified. 1 ENTRY DEADLINES AND DRAWING DATES The entry deadline for the first drawing is 11:59PM ET on November 14, 2016. Entries submitted after this deadline will be entered into the second drawing. Entries are good for one drawing only. Entries from the first drawing will be discarded after the first drawing and will not be eligible for the second drawing. The entry deadline for the second drawing is 11:59PM ET on February 27, 2017. Entries received after this deadline shall be ineligible for the drawing and will be discarded. The first drawing will occur on November 17, 2016, and the second drawing will take place on March 2, 2017. ENTRY DATE DRAW DATE 11:59PM ET on November 14, 2016 November 17, 2016 11:59PM ET on February 27, 2017 March 2, 2017 The deadlines and draw dates are subject to change at the sole discretion of the Commission. At the conclusion of each drawing, fifty alternate entries will be drawn. PRIZES At each of the two drawings, one eligible entry will be awarded a Granite Getaway Adventure Trip, and 120 eligible entries shall be awarded Bass Pro Shops gift cards as described below. PRIZES Bass Pro Shops Gift Card Granite Adventure Trip PRIZE VALUE $250 per gift card $5,000 - Adventure Trip $1,000 - Bass Pro Shops Gift Card WINNERS PER DRAWING 120 1 A cash option is available for the Adventure Trip itself, but there is no cash option available for the Bass Pro Shops gift cards, including the $1,000 gift card included in the Adventure Trip package. 2 WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Winners shall be selected by a Random Number Generator (RNG). No player may win more than one prize per drawing. In the event that two or more tickets are drawn with the same entrant’s name, only the first ticket drawn will be eligible to win a prize; the subsequent ticket(s) will be discarded and another will be drawn in its place. The Commission shall notify winners via mail using the contact information provided by the player via the website. Prize claims shall be in accordance with Chapter Sw 600 (Rules for Prize Claims) and other applicable rules. To claim their prize, a player shall complete and return the provided “Prize Claim Form” to the Commission. For prizes valuing $600 or more, the player shall also provide the Commission with a copy of photo identification and proof of their social security number. All forms and required documentation must be received by the Commission within 30 days of the date the forms were mailed from the Commission. Failure to comply will result in the prize package being forfeited and the prize will be awarded to the first available alternate winner. All prizes will be awarded within 30 days of the required forms and documentation being received by the Commission. Prizes will be sent via USPS with tracking so delivery can be confirmed. The Commission and its promotional partner, Alchemy3, shall not be responsible for any prizes lost, damaged or stolen during shipment, pick-up or use. The name of the winner, the city/town and state they reside in, and prize won will be posted on the Commission website as well as the Second Chance Drawing website. The Commission shall be responsible for the federal taxes, estimated at 25% of the value of each prize package valued at $600 or greater. Winners will receive an IRS Form W-2G from the Commission in January of the year following the respective receipt of the awarded prize. Any other taxes or fees will be the responsibility of the prize winner. CHILD SUPPORT INTERCEPT: Pursuant to RSA 284:21-v, the Commission is required to review all lottery prize claims subject to federal tax reporting with a child support database provided by the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Child Support Services (DCSS). In the event that a winner of any prize package described above owes child support, the winner shall have 5 days from the draw date to settle the total arrearage due as determined by DCSS. Failure to settle any arrearage shall result in that winner’s prize package being forfeited and the package will be issued to the first 3 available alternate winner. The original winner(s) owing child support shall receive no other prize or compensation from the Commission related to this game. GENERAL: Odds of winning any prize in either drawing shall vary depending upon the number of entries received. Eligibility for participation in the Second Chance Drawing (drawing) is dictated by the rules and laws of the Commission. Neither the Commission nor its promotional partner, Alchemy 3, shall be responsible for data entry errors by entrants. The Commission, at its sole discretion, may disqualify an entry, winner, or designee from participating in any aspect of the drawing if they deem or suspect that such person has engaged in or has attempted to engage in any of the following: Act in violation of these Official Rules, Terms of Use, or Privacy Statement ; Damage, tamper with or corrupt the operation of the website; Act with intent to annoy, harass or abuse any other person; Use an automated bot, macro, script or other robotic, mechanical, programmed or automated device(s) to submit data to the website; Repeatedly attempt to submit multiple entries for one ticket; Behave in any unsportsmanlike, inappropriate, uncooperative, disruptive, fraudulent, potentially fraudulent, or unusual behavior or activity; or Participate in any activity deemed to be generally inconsistent with the intended operation of the drawing. Any attempt by a person to deliberately damage or corrupt any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the drawing is a violation of criminal and civil laws. The Commission and its promotional partner, Alchemy3, reserve the right to prosecute and seek damages from any such individual to the fullest extent of the law. The Commission reserves the right to amend the drawing rules as necessary without prior notice no less than 10 days before any drawing. The Commission offers no warrantees or guarantees of product quality and that availability and quality of the prizes and its conformance to advertised representations is the sole responsibility of the promotional partner, Alchemy 3. The Commission shall not be responsible for injury or loss of life resulting from any prize awarded. 4 Participants release and hold harmless the Commission and its agents and employees from any liability arising out of participation in the drawings. The Commission is not responsible for any negligence of any person, or any claim, liability, injury, property loss, or other loss to participants or their companions arising from or in connection with any event or occurrence related to these drawing. Employees of the NHLC and their immediate family members, and employees and the immediate family members of the ad agency of record, are not eligible to enter or win.
