CUTTING TOOLS UTILITY KNIFE HAND SAW SCISSORS CHISELS SNIPS CIRCLE SAW ¡ U se: for making cuts on wood, especially usefull for things that can’t be put on a table saw. Quicker and better than the handsaw JIG SAW ¡ U se: used to make small cuts in wood. Especially useful for making holes of any type. How is this similar to Jigsaw puzzle? TABLE SAW ¡ U se: ideal for ripping lumber and plywood. It is stationary ¡ D o you know? § The difference between plywood & lumber CUTTING TOOLS UTILITY KNIFE HAND SAW SCISSORS CHISELS SNIPS BAND SAW ¡ U se: Ideal for cutting curves and anything that isn’t straight ¡ D o you know? ¡ B utchers have their own version of this to cut meat? MITER SAW ¡ U se: to cut angles in wood ¡ D o you know? ¡ C an cut straight cuts too ¡ A lso called cross cut saw UTILIT Y KNIFE ¡ U se: practically everything, but not very useful on wood. Most useful for canvas and other soft materials. ¡ W hat materials could you use with this? HAMMER ¡ U se: comes in a wide variety. Used for driving in nails, and the claw can be used to take them out. Also useful for scoring material and texturing it. ¡ D o you know? The difference between a hammer & mallet?
