s i g n a l j u s t like t h e s i g n a l s n o r m a l l y s e n t b y y o u r r e c e i v e r t o t h e s e r v o s

s e n s o r is f i t t e d t o t h e r i g h t s i d e M e g a M e t e r c a s e a n d is a c t i v a t e d b y
pointing M e g a M e t e r t o w a r d s the propeller at a distance of 10 a n d 2 0 c m
f r o m the propeller.

S p e e d Control ( E S C ) without the need to turn o n your transmitter, a n d
y o u d o n o t e v e n n e e d y o u r receiver. T h e s e r v o tester will put o u t a

like m o v i n g y o u r t r a n s m i t t e r s t i c k w o u l d c h a n g e t h e s i g n a l g o i n g t o a
servo or E S C .

To use the tester to evaluate a servo
• P r e s s ' M O D E ' a g a i n t o c h a n g e t h e r a n g e o f 1-5 b l a d e s
C o n n e c t i n g a battery to the i-Meter volt port. Plug a servo into the

s e r v o port. T h e s e r v o c a n be c o n t r o l l e d w i t h t h e a d j u s t m e n t dial u n d e r
M a n u a l M o d e . P r e s s ' M O D E ' button o n c e to set t h e P P M signal to a u t o .
T h e s e r v o tester will u s e 1 5 2 0 u s a s c e n t r e a n d a u t o m a t i c a l l y o u t p u t
cycling signal to m o v e the servo a r m back and forward.
T h e f l u c t u a t i n g l i g h t c a u s e d b y t h e r o t a t i o n o f t h e p r o p e l l e r is s e n s e d
and counted over a period of either 1 or 2 seconds. Allow a couple of
s e c o n d s for r e a d i n g s to steady.
W i t h a g e a r e d m o t o r , t h e m o t o r R P M will n o r m a l l y b e h i g h e r t h a n t h e
p r o p . R P M , b u t it is t h e p r o p r p m w h i c h is b e i n g m e a s u r e d a n d q u o t e d ,
s o t h e g e a r r a t i o is n o t r e a l l y r e l e v a n t .

many variances and some known factors.
