These are the results from Shane Kelly Park at the City of Oviedo’s third week of NFL Youth
Flag Football Games.
The 5/6 division started with a bang! The Packers walked away with 28-14 victory over the
49ers. The Dolphins earned their first win of the season over the Eagles with a final score of 2212.
In the 7/8 division the 49ers and Cowboys game came down to the very last play, but it ended in
a 6-6 tie. The Packers defeated the Chargers 13-6, the Eagles held the Jaguars scoreless to win
20-0, the Buccaneers and the Bears ended in a 6-6 tie and the Panthers tamed the Rams winning
32-8.
The 9-11 East division began with the “Game of the Week” between the Ravens and the
Chargers which was an evenly matched game ending in a 6-6 tie. The Cardinals soared by the
Vikings to win 27-6, the Texans defeated the Packers, 29-8 and the Eagles raided the Raiders to
win 21-6.
In the 9-11 West division the Browns bullied their way to a 24-0 victory over the Broncos. A defensive battle took place between the Colts and the Bengals, but the Colts were able to come out
on top to win 6-0. The Seahawks improved their record to 2-1 with their 24-6 victory over the
Cowboys, the Redskins held the Jaguars scoreless to win 20-0 and the Saints remained unbeaten
with their 21-0 victory over the Dolphins.
The 12-14 division started with the Falcons earning their first win over the Cowboys, 22-20. The
Panthers defeated the high flying Cardinals, 24-6. The Bears tamed the Lions to win 40-12, the
Seahawks defeated the Jaguars 25-13 and the Broncos blanked the Buccaneers 26-0.

9-11 Ravens vs. Chargers
The “Game of the Week” between the Ravens and the Chargers was a low
scoring defensive battle. In the first half both the Ravens and the Chargers
traded going four and out several times. With little time left in the first half
the Ravens started to drive down field but on the last play Aiden McNamara,
of the Chargers intercepted the ball to keep the Ravens out of the end zone.
The second half opened with the Chargers getting the first score of the game
on a 55 yard touchdown run by Nathan Stahl to make the score 6-0. The Ravens were looking to even up the game, but Aiden intercepted to ball again
and returned it inside the five yard line. After the interception the Ravens defense came up big and kept the Chargers from extending the lead. With three
minutes left in the game the Ravens drove down the field to put themselves in
great scoring position. Gabriel Benitez-Beauchamp connected with Owen
Compher with 17 seconds left to tie the game 6-6. The extra point attempt was
no good and the game ended 6-6.
