10/3 thru 10/7: This week we will be discovering zoo animals! We will turn Dramatic Play into a Veterinarian’s Office. We will sort animals into vertebrate
and invertebrate and learn about mammals, fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds, insects and crustaceans.

10/10 thru 10/14: We will be studying the artwork of Dali’ and painting animals in a surrealist style. We will focus on elephants with elongated legs. We will
be reading “What Do You Do With A Tail Like This?” to discover how animals use their body parts in different ways… For example: An elephant gives himself a
bath with his nose!

10/24 thru 10/28: We will read “From Seed To Pumpkin” as we learn about the life cycle of a pumpkin, label its parts, and observe its decomposition. We
will study animal teeth to decide if they are a herbivore, a carnivore or an omnivore. We will also learn the importance of brushing our teeth.
