Everyone Works Together – Everyone Is Rewarded
Q: What is Per Girl Average (PGA)?
Current GSGNY
Initial Sale PGA
A: In our Council, Per Girl Average is…
96
Total # of Cookies Sold By The Troop
/
Number of Girls Selling
Q: Why is PGA important?
A: PGA helps us gauge how many cookies the average Girl Scout in New York City can
sell. If our Council has the same number of girls selling, but we can increase our PGA
by even 2 boxes, that would mean a signficant increase in cookie sales. Take a look:

Q: How can I find out what our current troop PGA is?
A: If your troop participated in the Cookie Program last year, your troop PGA is
available in eBudde under the 2012-2013 Sales Report. On the right side of the page,
there is a row that says, “Initial PGA”. This will tell you the troop PGA for the Initial Sale.
