8TH GRADE SUPPLIES LIST FOR LANGUAGE ARTS, MATH, SCIENCE, AND SOCIAL STUDIES
TEAMS DYNASTY AND FUSION
Supply lists will be reviewed during the first week of school. For the first days of school, students should
come with writing utensils and a place to jot down some notes (a folder containing notebook paper or a
notebook.)
1-Binders: students should choose the system they prefer:
 2 binders; 2 sections each, with dividers and filler paper (graph and lined)
OR
 4 single-subject (1 inch) binders, color coded for each class (red, yellow, green, blue)
with dividers and filler paper (graph and lined)
Recommended number of dividers: 2 per subject
2-Scientific calculator labeled with first and last name. (make sure the calculator does order of
operations: the answer to 2+5x3 should be 17 and that it includes the following functions: square, cube,
and square root) OR a TI-84 Plus Graphing Calculator. There are enough graphing calculators in class for
students to use, but some students may find it helpful to have one at home. The graphing calculator is not a
required purchase for middle school; however most students will need the graphing calculator in high
school.
3-Pens of various colors and pencils.
4-Folders: a two pocket folder for each class: (red, yellow, green, blue).
5-Highlighters
Plus the following team specific items:
3 x 5 index cards (FUSION ONLY)
1 X 1 Post-It notes (FUSION ONLY)
composition notebook (DYNASTY ONLY)
