Before the session begins, parents/guardians and
gymnasts should ensure the following:
! The gymnast’s attendance has been registered
! Class fees are up to date or have been paid to the
member of staff taking the register
! The gymnast isn’t wearing loose clothing or
jewellery
! Loose hair is tied back
! No food is taken into the sports hall
! Any drinks taken into the sports centre have secure
tops/lids
! The gymnast’s shoes are taken off
! On arrival please do not disrupt the class that is
finishing, please wait at the side of the hall until
notified otherwise by a member of staff
During the session:
Within the sports hall, there is no
designated viewing area for
parents/guardians/spectators. We
ask that parents/guardians do not
stay within the sports centre
during the class, this for health
and safety reasons, and to ensure
the concentration of the
gymnasts is held only on the
activity itself and the coaches of
the session. If it is your child’s
first session, we permit parents/
guardians to watch the first 15
minutes of the session to ensure
their child has settled into the
class and are happy to continue.
At the end of the session:
Parents/guardians should wait in
the reception area of the sports
centre. A member of staff will
bring the gymnasts out to the
parents/guardians of whom the
gymnasts are being collected by.
Membership and Fees
You
can just arrive in time for
the class and we will provide
you with the necessary forms
and information.
Fees are £21 per month per
child (based on £4 per session
per week per child, plus a £5
monthly club membership fee.)
We do not charge extra for 5
week months but we will close
for two weeks at Christmas,
and 2 weeks in the Summer TBC). Members will be
refunded in the case of an
unexpected cancellation of

Full membership fees are not
expected to be paid on your
child's first session. A session

Policies and Procedures
As an affiliated club of British Gymnastics, we adopt the
following policies and procedures of the National
Governing Body:
! Safeguarding and Protecting Children Policy
! Complaints and Grievances Procedure
! Health, Safety and Welfare Policy
! Equality Policy
For more information on the above policies and
procedures please ask a member of staff or email
[email protected]
Emergency Procedures:
As hirers of King Edward VII Sports Centre, we will inherit
the procedures laid out by the Sports Centre. Sports
Centre staff will always be on site for the duration of the
classes, and should you wish to ask the Sports Centre for
key information regarding the venue and it’s procedures in
the event of an emergency, please do not hesitate to do
so.
We want children to have fun while they learn in a
safe and secure environment.
They should wear comfortable clothing that allows
them to move around easily. Shorts and t-shirts are
great – just ensure that clothes are not too baggy to
become a danger or too tight to be restrictive. Long
hair should be tied back and socks and shoes
removed. Jewellery or other items that might cause
scratching or become caught in materials should be
removed.
