A Big Fish
One day, Ricky and Wilson went fishing near a river. They went there by MTR,
then by bus and on foot. There were many trees and flowers beside them. The air
was fresh. They could see the fish clearly because the water was clean and clear.
Wilson was thrilled when he caught his first fish because he waited for his first
fish for about one hour and thirty minutes. After he put his fish into a bucket, he
fished again and shouted, ‘Yeah!’ Ricky was still waiting for his first fish. He was
very disappointed because he could not catch any fish.
Suddenly, Ricky felt something pulling his fishing rod strongly. He felt
surprised. Then, he pulled his fishing line up. Luckily, he found a very big fish and
two small fish.
Finally, Ricky and Wilson took their fish back home with satisfaction because
they caught many fish. They went home at half past five in the evening. They felt
glad but very tired.

I think Liu Xiang is one of the outstanding athletes in the world.
He was born in Shanghai, China. He is twenty-nine years old. He is
famous for 110m hurdles. He started to learn hurdling when he was
twelve years old.
Liu Xiang joined the Shanghai Athletics Team in 1999. He joined
the Nation Youth Team in 2000. In 2001, he broke the world youth and
Asian record with a time of 13” 12 seconds. In 2006, he was the 110m
hurdles champion with a new world record in Lausane. Moreover, he
withdrew from Beiing and London Olympic Games because of his foot
injury in 2008 and 2012.
I think he very brave because he got many gold medals for
China.

I think Liu Xiang is one of the outstanding athletes in the world.
He is famous for 110m hurdles. He was born in Shanghai, China. He is
twenty-nine years old. He started to learn hurdling at the age of twelve.
He joined the Shanghai Athletics Team in 1999.
Liu Xiang got his first gold medal of hurdling in 2001. He is a
brilliant athlete. He won many awards. In 2002, he got a gold medal at
Asian Championships. In 2003, he got gold medal in National Grand Prix.
He was the top ten athletes of China. In 2006, he used 12” 88 seconds to
complete the race. The people in China were thrilled about it.
Unfortunately, Liu Xiang cannot join the hurdling team now
because of his foot injury. In 2008, he withdrew from the Olympic Games
in Beijing because his foot was injured. In 2012, he lost in the London
Olympic Games. I think Liu Xiang is a hardworking athlete. He is poor
because he cannot run very fast now.
