St Andrew’s Annual Stated Meeting takes place today Sunday,
23 March, immediately following the 11 am service.
St Andrew’s Congregational Board meets on Tuesday 25 March at
7pm in the Ralston Road building.
ER Foodbank - We have a surplus of Soup, Pasta, Beans and Meat but we
would be grateful for any other tinned foods as well as Cereals, 80 x tea bags,
Coffee, Biscuits and Sugar. If you have a donation for the Foodbank, please leave it
in the tub in the Hall at back of Church.
Guild -On Monday evening, 24th March the speaker at the Guild will
be John Bolton who is a former Test Pilot his subject 'Townhead to
Toulouse'. 'The recollections of a test pilot'. We would particularly
encourage the gentlemen to come along on this occasion and enjoy
hearing about all the different aircraft that John has flown etc.
Coffee Morning, Saturday 5th April
Laura Eckles, Jim and Nadia's daughter, is running the London Marathon in aid of
Outward Bound which helps disadvantaged children experience outdoor activities
and has pledged to raise £1700. We would like to help her do this at the coffee
morning and so we'll be looking for donations of baking, and bottles for the bottle
stall. Tickets from Nadia or Susan if you can help.
The next issue of Newsletter is planned for issue on Sunday 6th April.

Last week we "Chinese luckied" in with £8 - our total is now £1295 Target £2,000
(1295 the year of the Model Parliament in England - called to help the
King (Edward 1) raise money to fight the Scots (William Wallace) and
the French - plus ca change?)

7th Barrhead Guides are collecting Sainsbury active sports vouchers. If
you have any please place in the box at the back of the church or pass on
to Lorraine Brown or Renee McDougall.
