customers special discounts while at the same time doing its bit for Corporate Social

The year-end festive period typically sees many sending gifts to their loved ones overseas. To
spread greater year-end cheer, SingPost is slashing its shipping charges for Speedpost EMS
Saver Box so that the customers can now spend more on gifts for their loved ones abroad and
less on shipping costs. Customers can enjoy up to 50% on Speedpost EMS Saver Box
deliveries to 220 countries worldwide. For example, the cost of sending a 5kg package to
countries like Australia, China, Japan and India is S$88.65, down from the usual S$146.65 - a
savings of 40%. Customers can enjoy 49% discount in shipping when sending a 20-kg package
to Europe and USA paying S$245.60 instead of the regular S$481.50. This special festive
promotion ends on 28 February 2014.

To meet customers’ shipping needs, Speedpost EMS Saver Box comes in three different size
options i.e. 5kg, 10kg and 20kg - all with convenient flat-rate pricing and no outskirt charges1.
Alongside a free packaging box, Speedpost EMS Saver Box offers online tracking capabilities
and a delivery standard of one to four working days to major cities.
Insurance Coverage from S$5
To give customers peace of mind as they send gifts to their loved ones, SingPost is
encouraging them to insure their items. It has specially marked down the insurance premium to
as low as S$5 and insure their items for up to S$20,000, an affordable solution that protects
against unforeseen circumstances. This translates into a savings of 60% from the usual

savings of 48% and 36% respectively on the usual postage rate of S$0.50 for non-standard

Customers can purchase stamps for their greeting cards at any post office, Self-service
Automated Machines (SAM), postal agents and stamp vendors located islandwide.
