Thursday: SAT WORD: Curtail DEFINITION: to cut back or reduce SENTENCE: School activities are being curtailed due to a lack of funds. Friday: SAT WORD: Bombast DEFINITION: pretentious words SENTENCE: The man continued in his bombast as people slowly stopped listening to him.
