Wild Trails Hiking Guides is a company composed of three qualified
hiking guides in the wild north of Tuscany.
Our license permits us to lead people in all mountain areas except
where the techniques or equipment of alpinism are required.
As local guides we offer a professional service and offer advice to
all tour operators interested in outdoor activ ities such as HIKING,
TREKKING, TRAIL RUNNING and ACTIVE FAMILY HOLIDAYS.
The proposals are available in all seasons.

To show the relative difficulty of our proposals, we refer to a graduated scale from 1: LEISURELY
(suitable for most people in good health) to 12: TOUGH (involving many long days, often in
isolated areas where a high level of fitness and previous wilderness and mountain experience is
essential).
Clearly, there are many different factors that contribute to the difficulty of a particular holiday,
including, length of day, terrain, type of accommodation, altitude and weather conditions. Since
some of these factors are necessarily changeable, any system of grades can only provide a
general indication.
Although we have tried to make our grading system as clear as possible, it cannot take into
account your personal interests, abilities or experience.

Daniele Bonini
I was born in 1983 in the heart of wild Tuscany.
In 2012 I received a master's degree in Sociology from the University
of Pisa and in 2015 I qualified as a mountain guide
(Guida Escursionista Regione Toscana).
This job is my passion as I love to explore the wild, hidden corners of
the landscape, discover the history of the area and the human
interaction with the evironment and then share my knowledge with
others.

Stefano Lera
I'm the youngest of the group, born in 1991. I have been a
professional guide (Guida Escursionista Regione Toscana) since 2013
leading groups both in the mountains and on the coast.
My passion is the history of these mountains. I love to walk around
the peaks looking for traces of the past: ruins of buildings and a way
of life long gone as well as ancient stories and folk lore to share with
my guests. I am lucky to live in an area of outstanding natural beauty
where the ways of the past are preserved in the present.

Manuel Bini
Born in 1976, I have been a guide since 2004 and set up the Selva del
Buffardello Adventure Park in San Romano di Garfagnana in 2006
I am always ready to share an adventure and my passions are
running, walking and cycling in the mountains.

The treasure of this land is the incredible variety of environments and
landscapes linked by human endeavour, tradition and folklore.
Two mountain ranges separated by a river but completely different from
each other: the Appennines, high sandstone giants with open grasslands
and beech forests forming the spine of Italy; the Apuan Alps, steep, rocky
wild mountains with twisting ridges made of white marble and limestone.
