Once again this year, the Me to We Club is selling rafiki bracelets to support the Free the
Children organization. On top of the $10 bracelets we sold last year, we are also selling longer,
more colorful bracelets this year. We hope you are able to help us raise funds towards our
continued initiative of $10,000 to build a fully furnished classroom in one of the countries in
need. Last year, we raised over $2,500, so let’s try to beat that this year.
In Swahili, the word for friend is “rafiki” and to the Kenyan mamas creating a better life through
Rafiki Friend Chains, the word means even more. For just $10 or $15, you can help one of these
artisans earn a living, send her children to school, and show the world the magic of her skills
and traditions. Wearing your Rafiki bracelet is a fashionable way to say that you care about
improving the quality of life for those who are less fortunate. Thank you!
