Student Cash Allowance
Boarding students can receive a weekly cash allowance that is distributed by the Business Office
every Friday. The allowance is funded by depositing an additional amount of money, specifically
designated as allowance funds, to the Student Debit Account. Parents must establish an
allowance account by completing this form if you would like your student to receive cash
distributions from the Business Office. No cash will be disbursed to students from their
Debit Account without a signed Student Cash Allowance form on file.
The typical weekly allowance is $20 to $50 and is established at the discretion of each parent.
Due to the risk of loss, theft, or indiscriminate spending the maximum weekly amount disbursed
by the Business Office is limited to $50. Weekly amounts are distributed to students every Friday
for the amount requested below and do not vary week to week. Amounts must be replenished
periodically as needed during the year.
Travel allowance includes cash required for food, public transportation, and other incidental
expenses while traveling home during school breaks and holidays. The maximum cash to be
disbursed by the Business Office is limited to $200.
