A Sense Of Wonder There Was a Child Went Forth In a creative and guided setting, children choose activities in which they wish to participate. Family Overnights and Concerts take place each session! There was a child went forth every day; And the first object he look’d upon, that object he became; And that object became part of him for the day, or a certain part of the day, or for many years, or stretching cycles of years. —Walt Whitman Children are realists. They want to experience things first hand. When children are studying their environment and its wonders, life becomes a little more understandable and touchable to them. Programs Even more appealing to children is the fact that learning outdoors is fun and gives them a feeling of having a good time while learning. Children know that realities turn them on.
