DataRunner optimizes both WAN and
LAN performance, accelerating data transfers across all participating NAS and SAN
storage environments. Its flexible architecture works with all types of files and is
fully scriptable, providing the ability for IT
administrators to integrate DataRunner into
their unique workflows. Compression algorithms are available to reduce the amount
of data transferred to maximize bandwidth
usage and accelerate file transfers.

DataRunner consistently minimizes transfer times, regardless of distance.
DataRunner verifies data integrity on every
block, resulting in guaranteed safe transfers
from source to destination. In the event of
a network failure or other interruption to
the file transfer, DataRunner will resume
without having to resend previously transmitted data. Two user-selectable encryption
algorithms ensure maximum in-flight data
security without impact to performance
and system resources.

System Requirements
One server required per site, each with
2GHz or faster, 64 -bit (x64) Intel architecture
processor and at least 4GB memory (8GB
recommended). Supported operating systems
include Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, 6 (64 -bit),
SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 (64 -bit),
CentOS (64-bit), Mac OS.
DataRunner is significantly more efficient than rsync, especially with compression (+C) and encryption (+E).
