Supplies & Information
2016-2017
The first day of classes for child/parent orientation will be either Thursday, September 1,
or Friday, September 2, and each child should bring the following supplies. The supplies
requested are expected to last the entire year. The extra supplies will be stored by the
teacher and distributed as the need arises. The first full day of classes for Kindergarten
students is Tuesday, September 6.
Please label every item with your child’s name (each crayon, eraser,
marker, etc)







2 large glue sticks
120ml Elmer’s washable school glue
1 white eraser
2 golf pencils (sharpened) 3 ½”pencil – you may cut a regular pencil in half
1 erasable whiteboard marker
1 package Pip-Squeak Crayola markers (16 or 24 Pack, Skinnies or Wide)
1 pair of good primary scissors (Right or Left Handed)
1 box (24) Crayola crayons (cheaper brands break easily)
1 1½ inch three ring binder
1 paint shirt (no buttons please/mom or dad’s old t-shirt)(place in a labelled ziplock

An extra pair of runners for gym with non-scuff soles. Please do not send lace-up

Small water bottle – They are encouraged to drink water! (sent home daily to clean)
Craft Supplies (optional) – Please consider donating various items from home to go
into our “Creation Station”. For example, paper towel/toilet paper rolls, pop can
tabs, buttons, yarn, ribbon, cotton balls, stickers, foam pieces, pony beads, etc.
1 plastic twin pocket folder: This will be used for notes that go home each day.
I Box of Kleenex – stored by the teacher and used by all students.
