DRESS FOR THE WEATHER
Please make sure your students are wearing coats, hats, gloves, and
boots when needed. Students do go to recess daily.

The Jr/Sr High SADD are now selling silicone bracelets to raise $ for the
Lacey Wert Memorial Scholarship. 1 bracelet for $3.00 and 2 for $5.00.

MOBILE DENTIST
Mobile Dentist will be at our school again on March 17 & 18. If your
student was seen in the fall this will be their 6 month checkup. Please
return forms by February 19th. This is a great opportunity for students
to have an oral exam, cleaning and X-rays if needed. Your child may
receive dental care at no cost to you, as Medicaid, CHIP, and most other
insurances cover 100% of preventative treatment.
JR. HIGH SWEETHEART DANCE
The Annual Sweetheart Dance will take place on Friday, February 19 for
grades 6,7 & 8, from 6-8 pm in the Jr/Sr High Cafeteria. More details to
follow.
FRIDAY DISMISSALS
Remember Friday dismissal is earlier than the rest of the week.
Elementary will dismiss at 1:50 and Jr.-Sr. High School will dismiss at
2:05
PARENTS!!
Parents, please call the office with transportation changes no later than
1:00 pm when possible.
REPORT ABSENCES!!!
Please make sure if your child is absent from school for any reason,
that you call the elementary office and let us know and/or send a note
once they return with a reason for their absence. This is very
important! If we do not receive a call or a note, the absence will be
marked unexcused.

2014-2015 Elementary Yearbooks are still available. The cost is $10.

FREE BREAKFAST AT SCHOOL!
Oregon-Davis offers a nutritious breakfast for all students at the
Elementary and the Jr/Sr High School every morning! The School
Breakfast Program plays an essential role in a child’s ability to learn
and we encourage every student to take advantage of this!

COLLECTING POPTABS FOR RILEY
UPDATE!!
Please inform us when your phone number or one of the emergency
contact numbers changes. It is very important that we have correct
information on file in case of emergencies or illness. You can visit our
website at odschools.org and click on the Parents & Students link.
From there, you can access the Powerschool link on the right side of the
page. You can update any information through Powerschool by email,
phone, or a letter sent in with your student.
LOST AND FOUND AT ELEMENTARY
If your child is missing articles of clothing, hats, gloves, etc., please feel
free to stop in to the school and have a look through our extensive lost
and found.
Student council is asking for your help. We want to show how
“GIVING” we can be here at Oregon-Davis. Please collect Pop Tabs
and send them with students in ziploc baggies. We will be donating
them to Riley’s Children’s Hospital.
GIRL SCOUT MEETINGS
Girls 2nd - 6th grade. Meetings will be held Wednesday Nights at 4:00
PM in the Elementary Cafeteria.
PENNIES FOR ST. JUDE
The Elementary student council would like your help! We are joining
B100 in their QUEST FOR A MILLION PENNIES! All the pennies
collected will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. St. Jude
Children’s Research Hospital is a treatment center for children that
suffer from cancer or other catastrophic diseases. The families never
receive a bill for treatment. WE WILL BE COLLECTING THRU
FEBRUARY 5TH. IF YOUR STUDENTS WOULD LIKE TO
PARTICIPATE THEY MAY BRING PENNIES IN BAGGIES OR
CONTAINERS. LOOK FOR THE COLLECTION BUCKETS WITH
THE B100 LABEL LOCATED NEAR THE OFFICE, UPPER END AND
LOWER ENDS.
BOBCAT BOOKSTORE
Now open at the elementary is the Bobcat Bookstore. This store will
be managed by our student council members. The store will be open
only on Tuesday & Thursday from 7:10-7:30. We will be selling school
supplies at minimal cost. Our store will also have some AWESOME
BOBCAT WEAR items. We will have a variety of student t-shirts
($10.00), and sweatshirts ($20.00). Adult sizes are available as well.
New items are now available. All proceeds will go to the student
council! Help support the student council and stop by soon!
SEND A CARNATION
The elementary student council will be selling carnations the week of
February 1-5. Students will be able to purchase carnations to send to
anyone they choose. Carnations will be sold for $1.00. All proceeds
will go to student council. Flowers will be delivered to the students on
February 12th.
