Monorail Drive Units GTA’s drive units are systems for use on overhead rails whose bracket trolleys generate the necessary braking force by means of a positive fit. The maximum push-pull unit force of 60 kN is achieved by one or two hydraulic drive cylinders, depending on the design. The positive fit guarantees the transmission of energy irrespective of the condition of the rail (dirty, damp or greasy rails). Ram System 2410 Ram System 2410 for use on overhead I 140 E-rails is deployed for transporting mobile loads suspended from the overhead rail such as dedusters, power supply trains and backfilling systems. In contrast to the ram system and push-pull units the AKS 9300 drives continuously. It is deployed as a drive unit for machines that are suspended from and travel on overhead rails such as work platforms, roadway support machines, drilling units, shotcrete manipulators etc.. Furthermore it is deployable in coordination with lifting devices for the transport of materials.
