Wir kommen zuriick auf Ihren Brief vom 30. September und
erhalten heute endUch die Antwort unserer Auftraggeber in Budapest auf die zwei von Thnen gestel] ten Pragen. Die Zuschrift der
Bank in Budapest lautet wie folgt:
"Wir beziehen una auf Ihr w. ^ohreiben vo.;. 4. Oktober irn Zueammenhang mit der rubr. Rimesse tu:d teilen Thnen auf die an uns gestellten ?ragen folgendes mit:
Ad 1/ Der erste Erwerber des fragilehen Protokolls war Herr
Deslder Glaser, Budapest VII, Garai-u.24, dem das Protokoll
von Herrn Eugen Leitner, dem damaligen Leiter des American
Joint Distribution Committee in Debrecen ira Ilerbst 1945
verkauft wurde.
Ad 2/ Unsere obigen Iviitteilungen enthalten bereits die Antwort auf
Prage 2/, da aus denselben hervorgeht, dass der erste
Erwerber des Protokolls, Herr Desider Glaser auch in der
Gegenwart der Inhaber desselben ist.
Wir wollen noch betonen, dass Herr Eugen Leitner kein EigentUmer
des fragilehen Protokolls war und sich mit dem Verkaufe desselben
nur in seiner Eigenschaft als seinerzeitiger Leiter des American
Joint Distribution Committee in Debrecen, befasste.
Wir hoffen, dass auf Grund dieser .vufklarung die Angelegenheit erledigt werden kann und zeichnen
