By Car
From Naples Airport take the “tangenziale” (left turning) and keep on the right hand side as
you have to take the first exit “NA-SA” (very badly chalked up). On the motorway “NA-SA”
you always follow the sign to Salerno until you see the brown sign for “Pennisola Sorrentina”. Following the signs for “Pennisola Sorrentina” you pass “Pompei” and take the next exit
“Castellamare di Stabia”. After the exit keep on the left hand side and follow the street to
the left. After a while you have the choice to drive either over “Sorrento” (along the beautiful
coast road – on which you have to calculate with traffic during the summer months) or you
can drive over “Agerola (over the hills and through the chestnut-woods).
Via „Sorrento“: First follow the signs to Sorrento. In Sorrento you have to take a left and
drive up a hill following the signs “Positano, Amalfi”. After Positano comes Praiano. In Praiano you pass the church “San Gennaro” (you will see the cupola of the church on your right
hand side) and keep following the main street. After approx. 100 meters you will find on the
right side the Hotel “Il Pino” (white building with green writing). At the end of the housewall
of the hotel are the stairs which lead to the Ca’ P’a. You take the stairs down, at the end of
those stairs you go right and immediately take the next stairs (to your left now) down again.
On the left hand side you will then see our big wooden door. If you wish to leave your car on
our parking space you have to keep following the street after the Hotel “Il Pino”. After two
more curves the street opens up and on this straight street you will see parked cars on the
right and on the left. At the end of this straight street you will find our parking-space in the
curve (it looks a bit like a parking lot for busses).
Via „Agerola“: First you always follow the signs to “Agerola”. In Agerola you follow the
signs to “Amalfi”. After you pass the town “Furore” you follow the street another few
kilometres until you are about 1 kilometre before Amalfi. At this junction you will find a stop
sign (there is also a bar/florist) and you have to take a U-turn to the right following the signs
to “Positano”. After the place name sign “Praiano” you keep following the street until you find
after the second tunnel a miniature religious display on the right hand side. You still pass
that and in the next curve you find our parking space on your left side (it looks a bit like a
parking lot for busses). If you follow the straight street to the end you will see after two more
curves the hotel “Il Pino” (white building with green writing) on your left. At the beginning of
the hotel’s house-wall you find the stairs which lead you to the Ca’ P’a. You take the stairs
down, at the end of those stairs you go right and take immediately the next stairs (to your
left now) down again. On the left hand side you will then see our big wooden door.
If you arrive after 19.00 and wish to leave your car on our parking space or need help with
your luggage we kindly ask you to call us when you are in Positano or Furore (depending on
which way you drove) in order to get the parking space opened up for you. In order not to
walk along the street with your luggage, we recommend unloading the car next to the stairs
which lead to the Ca’ P’a and then parking your car.

By train
The nearest train station is Sorrento.
From there you can either take a taxi
– travel time: about 30’ min., approx. EUR 50,- –
or the bus near the train station for Positano-Praiano-Amalfi
– travel time: about 60’ min., ticket fare EUR 1,80.
By bus from Capodichino Airport
From Capodichino Airport take a taxi to the bus station “Porto Immacolat”. Take the Sita
bus to Napoli-Sorrento-Positano-Amalfi
– travel time: about 2 hours 20’ min., ticket fare EUR 3,10.
By ferry
From Capodichino Airport take a taxi to the dock “Molo Beverello”. From there ferry
(traghetto) and hydrofoil (aliscafo) depart to Positano or Amalfi.
