HOW PERFORMANCE WORKS:
The Host-Specific bacteria and yeast in the products have
been selected from a pool of naturally occurring (non-GMO)
bacteria and yeast for their ability to positively affect digestion,
health, and the restoration of beneficial intestinal microflora.
These specifically selected bacteria and yeast synergistically
react to inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria.
Fawns are born with a non-functioning rumen and a sterile
gut. The selected bacteria in Performance Probiotics colonize
in the fawn’s gut, thereby jumpstarting the fawn’s digestive
system. Some of the bacteria not only colonize in the fawn’s
gut but, with competitive exclusion, prevent pathogenic
bacteria from adhering to the wall of the intestine.

Double Shot Fawn Gel is designed to naturally combat those
challenges. It includes specific antibodies to match specific

LIVE BACTERIA - Beneficial bacteria are required for healthy
digestion. Pathogenic or bad, bacteria cause digestive
problems. We include specific strains of particular bacteria
so they colonize, adhere and reproduce in the gut. These
beneficial bacteria out compete pathogenic bacteria that are
then shed and flushed through the digestive system.
YEAST - Live yeast culture is used to enhance digestion. As
a live yeast culture, the yeast reproduces rapidly aiding in
digestion and serving as additional nutrients for the bacteria
and the digestive system.

MICRO-ENCAPSULATED - After fermentation, the live bacteria
are freeze dried and encapsulated with a natural substance.
The primary function of this microscopic coating is to ensure
targeted delivery of the bacteria. An additional benefit of this
process is to improve product stability. While we recommend
that you keep the products out of direct sunlight and avoid
high temperatures; there is no special requirement that they be
refrigerated or kept airtight.
DOUBLE SHOT GEL - Double Shot has been specifically
formulated for newborn fawns. Fawns are born with a
sterile gut (no bacteria) and are subject to several diseases.
Double Shot contains 300 Million CFUs of bacteria per
dose to populate the fawn’s gut with beneficial bacteria
promoting a healthy fawn. Also included in Double Shot are
hyper-immunized eggs that produce specific antibodies for
combating seven diseases. Finally, we include a charcoal
and organic acid substance that promotes a healthy gut
