Beware the month March, if you are planning to attend all the D36 races in the
month of March you will be busy, your wallet will be thinner, your wife might
wonder where you are, but you will be in a damn good mood. The month of
March is a busy one for racing. There is a D36 race every weekend with the
Ride of the Month (ROM) on March 20th/21st in Hollister. However, the 2010 1x
race will be underway before the March races and anyone who can finish all
that racing will certainly be in a good position going into the spring season.
February produced some good racing. E-Street MX was the site of the
February ROM. The club had a good turnout and the results are presented
blow. It is good to see Mushrush back in

action!
February had several trail rides go off in
Nevada one in the Pine Nuts and one in
Moonrocks (Moonrocks is where the oldtimers are sent to ride, because on the moon
the lower gravity is easer on the body).
Watch your email for more
Pine Nuts rides
to come and
maybe even an
overnight dualsport to
Bridgeport.

10x floating on the moon!
The PCGP pizza party was a load of fun, lots
of good bench racing and a slide show of
some random pictures of the PCGP taken by the chairman.

2009 PDMC Banquet
We had the 2009 year end banquet in February a good time was had by
all. The highlights were Dave taking the award for 1x, Curt walking away
with the 7x and the Activity award trophies (I want an official recount of
the 25 work parties!), and Joe made for an entertaining year end review
(although, at Joe’s last party I noticed his clock was not working, when
asked he responded that it burned it-self up, very strange!).
Ride of the month for March is the
Phantom HS at Hollister. Hopefully
we will have a good turn out and take
home some trophies.
What a happy guy!!! Now his wife
knows where all his money went.

Picture of the Month
No updates from Ray (LAO) this month. The club
should consider adopting a trail in the Elkins Flat trails
system as discussed by Ray in the February newsletter.
If the club decides to adopt a trail we should try and
coordinate it with 49er permit/process.
We do have an update from the ENF regarding our long
term 49er permit. The ENF has decided to scale back
our permit from 10 years to 5 years to be more
consistent with CERA’s permit (which is being
contested). We are only a little behind CERA in the
overall process and the FS says they are committed to
the process and getting us a permit for this falls event
(assuming we accept the cost).
What Happened? E-Street
bites again! You should
have gone riding with me in
the Pine Nuts.
There is a lot going on with regards to land use issues and OHV use. Get involved if you want
to keep ridding at your favorite place. If you look deep enough you will find land use issues and
OHV battles at your favorite riding place.
