First select the required Flexible Tap Connectors to suit the diameter of the mains supply pipe and
its position; there are 2 choices of length available 300mm or 500mm
Apply PTFE tape to one side of each Inlet Hose Connector. Screw connectors with taped ends
into the threaded holes in the Filter Housing Head, ensuring a watertight fit.
Turn water off at Mains stopcock
Open nearest tap to release pressure
Locate drain plug if fitted and drain residual water.
If no drain plug is available it will be necessary to catch any residual water in the system in a
suitable container when cutting the pipe.
Cut out required length of copper pipe, deburr the ends of pipe to be connected.
Fit a Flexible Tap Connector to each cut pipe by means of the compression fitting.
Screw the free end of the Flexible fitting from the mains supply to the port marked “IN” on the
Filter Housing Head and the other Flexible fitting to the port marked “OUT”
Filter Fitting
Remove outer wrapping from filter.
Unscrew Filter Housing and check that the large “O” ring is seated evenly in the top of the
housing.
Place filter into Housing and screw back on to Housing Head.
Carefully tighten Housing with ring spanner provided (see Filter Replacement for filter orientation).
Close the open tap and drain plug. Open the isolation valves fitted to the Flexible connectors then
turn water on at mains stopcock.
The system is now ready for use.

Filter Replacement
Replace filter after 12 months (depending on usage and quality of incoming water)
Turn water off at mains stopcock, open nearest tap to release pressure.
Close both isolation valves on Flexible connectors and open pressure release valve situated on top
of fixed head.
For safety, place a suitable tray or bowl beneath the Filter Housing Body to catch any spilt water.
Use Ring Spanner to loosen the Filter Housing Body and remove from the unit.
Empty any excess water and remove old filter. Check that the large “O” ring is seated evenly in the
top of the housing.
Remove outer wrapping from filter taking care not to loose any sealing rings if fitted and place in
Filter Housing.
Screw back onto Housing Head and finally carefully tighten with Ring Spanner.
Close Pressure Release valve, open both Isolation Valves and mains stopcock.
Check for leaks as above.
