The Region 5 Athlete Clinic is designed to support and encourage all levels of athletes and coaches, with special emphasis on the J.O. Program. This year we are using a new two-day format with each club assigned a training block. All participating pair/groups from the respective club will train during their club’s designated time. No division by level. Clubs will have dedicated one-on-one training time with clinicians and have the flexibility to tailor their training block to meet their coaches’ and athletes’ needs. Clubs can use their time as they see fit: i.e., choreography and presentation work, skill work, drills and conditioning, different aspects for different pair/groups. This will help clubs gain additional time with clinicians and focus on their most important needs. Club blocks were determined based on the estimated number of athletes participating per club. Nancy Davis and Lanie Davis, from ATA in San Jose, CA will be with us again this year. They will be great resources to the Region 5 teams as you continue to prepare for the upcoming season. DATE: Saturday, January 2 and Sunday, January 3, 2016 PARTICIPATION: 1. Current acro athletes at Levels 5-10, great preparation for the upcoming Acro season. 2. Current pre-team (levels 1-4) acro athletes wishing to get a jump on making the acro team. Clubs can decided if and how long this level should participate.
