Please clear the area underneath your palms in preparation. Wed, March 25 - 7pm Monthly Falls Board meeting The Islands Clubhouse Trimming of other large trees and Queen Palms are the homeowners’ responsibility. Garden West can trim those at your cost. Enjoy our Torrid Summer in The Falls! Got a new email address? Sprinklers and Drip Lines Our email list gradually dwindles as people change email addresses and we have no way of tracking them. Email Rick Eissinger, [email protected], with any email changes to make sure you get the news and community announcements. If you have irrigation issues: 1. Flag the broken heads (flags are kept under the kitchen sink at the pool). 2. Email our property manager, Mel letting him know what the issues are. 3. Our sprinkler repair person, Melesio, will do the repairs, generally Friday or Saturday. Temporary Parking Permits Temporary parking permits available from board members. are You may get a 2 night permit for cars/trucks or a 1 night permit for an RV. Potluck We had 20+ people at the pool for a very enjoyable evening and potluck! We’ll plan another in the fall timed when more snowbirds have returned! Vandalism We have had some incidents of minor damage/vandalism at the pool. Some is probably caused by trespassers coming to the pool area via boat, but probably not all. All of us end up paying for this – with additional charges by our pool service or cleaning service. Please make sure everyone in your household is reminded to be respectful of our beautiful community. USPS Mail Deliveries Trouble with your mail deliveries? Getting someone else's mail? Someone else getting yours? Let the Gilbert Post Office know at 480-545-1167. Ask to speak to a supervisor. It won't get better if they don't hear from you! We will be having the same pavers that are on the rest of the pool area installed over the cement dock base. Ladies Water Aerobics Join your neighbors at the pool Mon – Fri mornings from 7:30 – 8:30am starting June 2. Bring dumb-bell weights and/or a ‘noodle’. No charge! See you there! We may occasionally change a date or time – contact Pat Johnson for the latest information. Gates Our entry gates are being re-painted with a warm terra cotta brown to match signs in the community. The pedestrian gate is being repaired. Finally, in response to the neighborhood survey, we are adding additional fencing at the entrance. Grill - Don’t forget to clean the grill with the provided brush when done. Party Reservations - Don’t forget to mail your reservation form to our property manager (with the check for the $100 deposit). A $100 fine will be levied for parties held without a reservation. Trespassers - Please report any suspicious activity at the pool or elsewhere in the community.
