instead of a jacket. All contestants and personnel, IF YOU WANT A VEST INSTEAD OF A JACKET,
call Wayne Knutson at 660-261-4337 by September 11, 2010. Leave a message stating your name and size
If you are a first time qualifier, please call Carol Knutson with your jacket size. She can be reached at
660-261-4337. Please leave a message.
The Host Hotel is the Comfort Inn & Suites on Phillips Lane. This is just down the street from the Executive
West Hotel.
The 2010 rate is $89.00 (plus tax). We reserved a block of 60 rooms. When all the rooms in the block have been
reserved, the rate will go up to the regular rate (plus tax) if there are any other rooms available. The deadline for
reserving rooms in our block is October 10, 2010, but don’t wait until then to reserve a room as we expect them
to go quickly.
All the rooms are suites. Each one has a microwave and a refrigerator.
The contract for these rooms is under “Great Lakes Pro Rodeo”.
To make your reservations, call: 502-375-2233 or 1-888-527-4866.
The Roping previously held on Thursday will now be held on Wednesday, so plan accordingly.
The second performance on Friday will be a “Tough Enough to Wear Pink”. Wear pink to support the cause.
We will have a Silent Auction at the membership meeting. Each event rep should bring in 3 donations or more.
Silent Auction items can be dropped off at check-in or brought to the Saturday meeting.
For all contestants of the Finals, there will be a brief MANDATORY meeting Thursday November 11th at 4p.m.
It will take place in the University of Louisville ballroom, located on the 2nd level of Freedom Hall, the same
room where the membership meeting is held. This meeting will cover information about the weekend to help
the performances run smoother. There will be a $50.00 fine for those not attending.
With the mandatory meeting at 4 p.m., the time for gate passes to be picked up at the Comfort Inn & Suites in
the conference room will be 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Jackets will be handed out at the meeting at 4p.m. There will
not be a hospitality room at check-in.
We are working on pizza nights for Thursday & Friday after the rodeo.
All stock brought on to the Fair Grounds must have current health papers.
Please communicate with your event rep throughout the summer so they are aware of any sponsors you are
working on. Sponsor amounts are:
Event -- $1350.00
½ event -- $675.00 Queen -- $675.00
Hospitality Night -- $300.00
