Participants were drawn from 8 countries and had Facebook Head of Africa in attendance. -----------------------------------------------------------------Peace and Conflict Initiatives SCTN participated at the Stakeholders Peace and Security Forum and policy dialogue on the separatist agitations and democratic consolidations organised by the Institute of Peace and Conflict Resolution ---------------------------------------------------------------FCT Elections preparations SCTN participated in the Inter – Agency Consultative Committee on Elections and Security (ICCES) in Abuja held in preparation for the upcoming FCT Elections. Speakers’ Corner Trust (SCT) is a registered charity in the UK established in 2007. Following extensive consultation; Speakers’ Corner Trust Nigeria (SCTN) was established as an Incorporated Trust in Nigeria in 2011. On the Board of SCT Nigeria are Dr. Hussaini Abdu, Mrs Maryam Uwais and Dr. T Koripamo - Agary. The Chairman of the Board is Dr. Kole Shettima. SCT Nigeria was founded by Mr Peter Bradley, former British MP who is also the Director of Speakers Corner Trust UK. SCTN is funded by the Ford Foundation. In October 2014, SCTN entered into a collaborative partnership with the National Orientation Agency. SCTN also organizes Schools Debates for younger people
