POST 9/11 G.I. BILL Active military, veterans and eligible spouses and dependents can receive reimbursement from the Department of Veterans Affairs for ACE Certification Exam fees associated with any of our four primary certifications – Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Health Coach, and Advanced Health & Fitness Specialist. First-time and re-take exams qualify for reimbursement. Am I Eligible? The Post 9/11 G.I. Bill provides financial support for education and housing to individuals with at least 90 days of aggregate service after Sept. 10, 2001, or individuals discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days. You must have received an honorable discharge to be eligible. For more information, view the Department of Veterans Affairs website. How Can I Apply for Reimbursement? After earning your ACE certification, visit the Post 9/11 G.I. Bill website and click on the Apply for Benefits icon. Complete the Veterans Online Application (VONAPP).
