Intex FitRist Cardio FAQ’s
1. What is the use of Intex FitRist Cardio?
Intex FitRist Cardio is used to keep track of your daily activities. It measures the number of
steps walked, total distance travelled and total calories burned in a day, monitors your sleep
and also monitor yours Heart Rate. It also notifies you the important WhatsApp, SMS, Call,
Facebook Messenger Notifications.
2. How to connect Intex FitRist Cardio?
For Android:-To connect Intex FitRist Cardio with Android, follow the below steps:
a. Open the app, there will be pop-up alert to turn on the Bluetooth of the device
Note:-Please ignore if your Bluetooth is already ON.
b. After that Click on Menu Icon and then click on device tab
c. A list of nearby Intex FitRist Cardio will be shown, click the nearby Cardio device ID to
connect.
d. Once connected, BT icon will be displayed on the band screen
For IOS:-To connect Intex FitRist Cardio with IOS, follow the below steps:

Open the app, there will be pop-up alert to turn on the Bluetooth of the device
Note:-Please ignore if your Bluetooth is already ON.
f. After that Click on Menu Icon and then click on Connect device tab
g. A list of nearby Intex FitRist Cardio will be shown, click the nearby Cardio device ID to
connect.
h. If dialog box for pairing appears kindly allow pairing.
i. Once connected, BT icon will be displayed on the band screen
3. How to disconnect Intex FitRist Cardio?
For Android:-To disconnect Intex FitRist Cardio in android, follow below steps:
a. Open the app, click on Menu Icon and then click on device tab
b. Tap on icon displayed on the right side of connected device to disconnect the band
For IOS:-To disconnect Intex FitRist Cardio in IOS, follow below steps:
a. Open the app, click on Menu Icon and then click on device tab
b. Tap on icon displayed on the right side of connected device to disconnect the
band
c. User will be directed to System Setting-Bluetooth screen’
d. Click on symbol on the right
e. Select ‘Forget this device’
4. Cannot able to sync the data in the app, why?
Check the following, in case data cannot be synced:
a. Phone’s BT is switched on.
b. Check whether Band and phone is in BT range or not.
c. Check whether the Band is connected with Application or not
Note: Internet connection is required to Login into Intex FitRist Cardio Application
5. Intex FitRist Cardio is not discoverable in the application, cannot able to connect.
Perform either of the given steps:
a. Clear BT cache memory
b. Delete all paired Intex FitRist Cardio devices from phone BT settings
c. Then again try to connect the band through Application.
d. Check if yours Intex FitRist Cardio not connected with some other device.
6. Data sync shows incorrect data in the app.
Data sync show incorrect data for two reasons:
a. Personal profile not set. If so, set your personal profile first with all correct details.
b. After setting your personal profile then click on below Synchronize Smart Band option
7. How to track sleep monitoring?
a. Wear your Intex FitRist Cardio on your wrist before going to sleep
b. You can also set your preference sleep monitoring time according to your need through
Application
8. What all functions can Intex FitRist Cardio perform?
Intex FitRist Cardio has following functions:

9. What is the use of Anti-lost function?
When the distance between your smartphone and Intex FitRist Cardio is out of the effective
distance the band will vibrate and smartphone will alert with the ringtone.
10. Incoming Call Notification in Android and IOS?
In Android:- Caller name will display if no. is saved in phone and if no. is not save then band
will display the caller number only.
In IOS:- If contact number is saved then band only display calling Icon not any number and
name and if contact no. is not saved then band will display caller number.
11. How to monitor Heart Rate from band?
For monitoring heart rate wear band one finger up from wrist. Click the single touch screen
on the band 7 times until you see Heart rate icon. Long press the single touch icon on the
screen (say about 3 seconds) to start heart rate monitor.
12. Why I could not find or connect with my Intex FitRist Cardio?
 Check if phone Bluetooth is turned on.
 If still not connected, check if the band is not connecting or connected to some other
smartphone. Please disconnect it first and try again. If still finding problem in
connecting, reboot the phone and band.
13. Why my Intex FitRist Cardio could not record steps?
To get results, please wear the band on your hand to monitor steps. Steps may take few
seconds to sync on the band and on the application.
14. Why the steps on band is same to smartphone but calorie and distance are not?
Sync the personal info to the Intex FitRist Cardio and try again.
15. How to control MP3 player from band?
Click the button on the band 6 times until you see music icon. Long press the music icon (say
about 3 seconds) to reach sub menu. Take the control on the option you want to use
(forward, backward, play/pause, go back) and long press for about 3 secs to perform the
task.
To go back to main menu take control on the back button and long press for at least 3 secs.
16. How to control camera from the band?
From Application:-Open the app, click the menu option on the top left corner and click
camera button from the menu. Click the button on the band until you reach the camera
icon. Long press the camera icon to click the image.
From Band:- You can also use the camera by just opening the app and long pressing the
camera icon on the band once the camera is opened user can click the picture by long
pressing the camera icon on single touch button.
15 Can we save the clicked image on the band?
No. Intex FitRist Cardio memory is very less it cannot store the images captured, but images
will be saved in phone and you can view it from gallery.
16 App force closes sometimes, why?
Clear the cache memory of your phone and try again. Application might not work properly
on Jailbreak/Custom OS devices
17 How long will the band’s battery stay once full charged?
Intex FitRist Cardio band lasts long up to 7 days once full charged.
18 Is Intex FitRist Cardio waterproof?
Intex FitRist Cardio is water resistant i.e. it can only resist water splash. Dipping in water or
wearing while swimming will damage the watch.
19 What is the battery capacity of Intex FitRist Cardio?
Intex FitRist Cardio has 80 mAh battery.
20 What is the warranty of Intex FitRist Cardio?
Intex FitRist Cardio carries 6 months warranty.
21 Is Intex FitRist Cardio compatible with all the devices?
The band is compatible with the device running Android 4.4 and above version and iOS 7.0
and above version. The band is not compatible with Windows phone.
22 Intex FitRist Cardio does not respond for sometimes.
While connecting to Bluetooth or while synchronization Intex FitRist Cardio data the band
may not respond for some seconds. The reason being it takes some time for the data to
synchronize when connected to Bluetooth.
23 Intex FitRist Cardio application does not run in background.
Intex FitRist Cardio application does run in background. Press the home key to run the
application in background. If back button is pressed, it will exit the application and you might
lose the connectivity with the band.
24 Does Intex FitRist Cardio connects with Android 4.4 devices?
Yes Intex FitRist Cardio do connect with Android 4.4 devices but along with Android 4.4, the
device should also support Bluetooth version 4.0 or above.
25 Why Intex FitRist Cardio does not support BT 3.0 if it supports BT 4.0?
FitRist runs only on the devices which supports BLE i.e. Bluetooth Low energy as it consumes
low power. As this technology is not backward compatible with previous (often ‘’Classic’’)
Bluetooth protocol, so it is mandatory to have BT 4.0 or above in the supporting device.
26 What type of devices are actually compatible with Intex FitRist Cardio?
Devices with genuine OS (Genuine Android and iOS) will perfectly be compatible with Intex
FitRist Cardio. We Intex do not take responsibility of Custom ROM devices (OS with
modifications done), performance may vary with those devices.
27 Which is the preferable devices to use Intex FitRist Cardio?
Any device with Genuine Android 4.4 or above and iOS 7.0 or above will be compatible with
FitRist with Bluetooth version 4.0 or above is suggested.
28 Can we use Intex FitRist Cardio as a standalone device?
Yes of course, Intex FitRist Cardio can display all day activity in the band itself as it has a
display. If other features like call/ message notification, camera, music needs to be used,
then band needs to be connected to the phone via app, using it as a standalone device will
save battery for both the devices.
29 Does Intex FitRist Cardio get OTA updates?
Yes. OTA is supported in Intex FitRist Cardio.
31. How you can increase the accuracy of Steps, Distance and Calories?
Accuracy can be increase by setting actual Stride in Profile setting and for stride
calculation perform the below steps:a. Fix any distance of 20m, 30m, 50, 0r 100m
b. Count the steps while walking into fix distance and note down the steps count.
c. Do this observation at least 5 times and note down each observation of steps.
d. Calculate the average of steps noted by using below formula:-
Average Steps :- (Sum of Observation of Steps) / (Total no. of Observations)
e. After that apply into stride formula that is
Stride = Distance (20m, 30m, 50m or 100m) divided by Average steps.
Example for Calculating Stride:Stride Calculation (Distance taken 100m)

= 143.2
Stride Formula = Distance / Average Steps
Here, Distance = 100 m and 10000 in centimetre
Average Steps = 143.2
So, Stride = 10000 / 143.2
= 69.83240223
Stride = Distance / Average Steps
