effective leader.
In today’s complex world, success is not necessarily bestowed to the person with the
highest IQ or the most proficient at a given task. Success requires that we be well-rounded
and multidimensional. Enter the concept of emotional intelligence (EI). It has become well
accepted that EI is a critical component for success as a leader and for success in life in
general. Stories abound about leaders who have exemplary technical skills but fail in their
leadership roles because they have no ability to connect with their own emotions or the
emotions of others. This webinar will present the key components of EI, how they are
related to effective leadership practices, and how EI can be developed.
