Please! How long are we going to go without a good/affordable grocery store! It has been on the Anonymous
radar for years, but no progress is being made. In the meanwhile Ignacio is moving forward and
there are plans for one near Mercy.
These are other needs:
Hotel/s
Sporting goods store
More fast foods i.e. Kentucky Fried Chicken/Taco Bell, Sonic, Carls
Bike and Motorcycle Shop
We should be taking advantage of the tourism that heads to Durango. All of the above
suggestions would help and put people to work here.
Recreation Center adjoining the old white gym -with handball courts, another gym, exercise
rooms, a walking area, meeting rooms, etc.
Please work with owners of property in the business park to bring down their prices. It was
developed to bring in business, but has become an investment tool- no one can afford to pay the
prices yet make a go of a business on the property.
Please please please get a grocery store!!!
TOWN SHOULD SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES THAT COLLECT THEIR SALES TAX FOR
THEM. GET QUOTES ON THINGS THAT CAN BE BOUGHT LOCAL BEFORE PAYING STAFF
