A RESOLUTION SUPERSEDING AND RESCINDING THAT
PARTICULAR PORTION OF SECTION 2 OF RESOLUTION NO. 20051165 REGARDING THE WATER RATE SCHEDULE; ESTABLISHING
A NEW SCHEDULE OF WATER RATES PURSUANT TO SECTION 2631, CITY OF TAMPA CODE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Tampa to adjust certain water rates to
accommodate the increased costs to provide services.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TAMPA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. This Resolution supersedes and rescinds that particular portion of Section 2
of Resolution No. 2005-1 165 passed and approved by City Council on September 8, 2005
regarding the Water Rate Schedule only with the remainder of Resolution No. 2005-1 165 still
effective. Any other Resolution that is in conflict with this Resolution is superseded and
rescinded.
Section 2. That pursuant to the authority of Section 26-31, City of Tampa Code, the
following is the schedule of water rates and the schedule of fees required under Chapter 26
relating to Water Department activities:

WATER RATE SCHEDULE
The rates for water furnished by the City to the customers shall be based upon the
quantity of water, determined by metering, furnished to each premise, each billing period or
upon the minimum monthly charges, whichever is greater. Different rates are to be charged to
premises inside and outside the city limits.

Section 3. That the proper officers of the City of Tampa are authorized and directed to
do all things necessary and proper in order to cany out and make effective the provisions of this
Resolution.
Section 4. That the rates established by this resolution shall be utilized in calculating
bills beginning on the first billing cycle in October for the respective fiscal year.
