stress.” Curtis Clark is mentored by Dr. Tyler Curiel received 1F30CA206398-01
Entitled “ Novel PD-L1 signals regulating anti-tumor immunity and immunotherapy responses” and Jeffery Cooney is mentored by Dr. Ricardo Aguiar received
1F30CA206343-01 entitled “The cyclic AMP/phosphodiesterase4 axis regulates proximal
B cell receptor signaling and offers a new therapeutic strategy for B cell lymphomas.”
Jessica Zavadil Co-first author publication
Jessica Zavadil, GS4, a co-first author publication
in Cancer Prevention Research. The article is entitled “DNA Alkylating Agent Protects Against Spontaneous Hepatocelluar Carcinoma Regardless of O6Methylguanine-DNA Methyltransferase Status.” Jessica is mentored by Dr. Christi Walter, Cancer Biology.
Curtis Clark & Justin Drerup on their way to Switzerland
Curtis Clark, GS-2, and Justin Drerup, GS3 will be
heading to Davos Switzerland in March to attend the World
Immune Regulation Meeting. Curtis will be presenting a
poster on “Tumor-intrinsic B7-H1 signals in melanoma and
ovarian cancer regulate tumor mTOR, growth, autophagy
and immune sensitivity” and Justin will be giving an oral
presentation on “IL-2 blockade by anti-CD25 antibody depletes central regulatory T cells, improves tumor immunity,
and extends survival in an ovarian cancer model..” Both students are mentored by Dr. Tyler Curiel. Way to go guys!!
