REPORTS OF OFFICERS PRESIDENT (Cookie) (Read by the Chair in Cookie’s absence) My Dearest Sister Family... As all of you know I have been entertaining offers in Atlanta for new career opportunities. In truth, I never "applied" to a single opportunity but instead networked and had some very viable offers come through. After closer look, I did not feel that these opportunities were a good match for my professional and personal goals so I decided to stay in Jacksonville and keep my eyes open for opportunities here in the First Coast. As I was in process of moving to Springfield (a move I was very excited about I might add) I got a call regarding an opportunity to work in Nashville, TN. The job is a director position overseeing operations for Nissan North America through Kelly Services. I have decided to accept the job and have just made travel arrangements to go up May 18th to meet my team and iron out a date for me to step in for the current Director. It looks (right now) that I am going to be moving officially at the beginning of July. I have contacted the Music City Sisters and Sister Faegala Tina Pfischzoot has been overwhelmingly sweet and kinda. It is my intention to stay a part of the First Coast Sisters and become a fully professed sister with you all. We started this journey together and I intend to finish it with you bitches.... damnit.. hahaha Once we have achieved this goal, I will be requesting to officially join the Music City Sisters as Nashville will be my new home. Like any family we have had our ups and downs and will continue to do the same. The First Coast Sisters mean so much to me and this group will forever be in my heart no matter where I go. As for who will replace me... whatever I can do to help in this transition I am here. I wanted to let you all know we have plenty of time to take care of that but it is definitely something that needs to be discussed and taken care of. I will miss all of you but will be back to visit. I have lived in Jacksonville, FL longer than anywhere else in my adult life. I have roots here and a family that I will always stay close to. Effective Immediately, I am resigning my position as Irreverant Mother of the First Coast Sisters. It has been most humbling experience and I thank you so much for the privilege to service you, I mean serve you. I love you all and will miss you. Please know that you all have an open invitation to come and visit in Nashville, TN. MISTRESS OF NOVICES (All‐beef) Deferred. TREASURER (Epicurio) We now have $512.95 in the general fund. Our Post Office box has also been renewed. SECRETARY (Fanny) Given the President’s report, a follow up on the details of the board resignation will follow after the meeting.
