System Update to WRS Health
The WRS Development Team will be performing a software update on or
about October 11, 2013. This release will include the following:
Physician’s Desk Reference® within WRS Health
Physicians’ Desk Reference® resources are now available to all WRS Health
practices. Users can access PDR® BRIEF each time they e-prescribe for upto-date drug safety information and patient support services, including
PDR+ printable patient drug education guides.

Medications Tab: PDR Drug information will now populate when typing
in a prescription.
Note: Within the EMR Medications page, the PDR content will NOT display
if:

The user does not have
prescribing supervisory set up
PDR content is only shown to
users who can
prescribe/modify prescriptions

after adding as a prescription and print out patient drug information to give
to patients.

Patient Information via Portal: When accessing the patient portal,
your patients will have access to patient
drug information.


You will also have the choice to send this information to them via
email when a prescription is added in the EMR.
