Summer Camp - St. Philip`s Preschool

St. Philip’s 2014 Summer Camp
Themes and Descriptions
June 9-13 Races and Relays: This week students will have a blast learning and playing a whole slew of relay games and races. Each day will hold various
team and individual competitions engaging a wide range of skills and abilities. This camp was a smash hit last year and we can’t wait get the fun rolling again!
June 16-20 Art Camp: (There is a $10.00 Supply fee for this camp) Students will study famous artists and create truly special art projects. You’ll be
amazed at what your children bring home and they’ll be amazed at how much fun they had! Please note: there is a $10.00 Supply Fee for this camp
July 7-11 Wild, Wild West: This fun camp will let students learn and experience the best of the old west history. We’ll lasso some bulls, pan for gold,
and make our own toys (that don’t need batteries!), learn to square dance, and maybe even milk a cow or two!
July 14-18 Under the Sea Adventure: During this camp students will explore the ocean and all its awesome creatures. A combination of creative
activities, science experiments and a few fun beach games thrown in to keep us active, this camp will have something for everyone.
July 21-25 Mad Science: This camp will be a hands-on and quite possibly messy romp as students explore and manipulate the world around them. They’ll
discover how things we use every day get made and get to do some really cool experiments
July 28-Aug. 1 Roxaboxen Camp: This is the camp that every parent will wish they could attend! Based off the charming children’s book, Roxaboxin
by Alice McLerran, students will build their own town using cardboard boxes, creativity, and imagination. Students will collaboratively decide how their
town will work, who will do what jobs, and how to govern.
August 4-8 Around the World: Each day campers will land in a different country. While there they’ll explore the different cultures, foods, family life,
music, languages, art, animals, and entertainment.
