Gordon joined the financial services
industry in 1987 and has been with
Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and its
predecessor firm ever since. Gordon
focuses on retirement and investment
planning, 401(k) plans, legacy planning,
pensions, lump sum distributions and
profit sharing plans. He also conducts
numerous retirement and investment
planning seminars throughout the
community. Gordon’s commitment to
providing a high level of service and
financial advice led to his position as
a Managing Director-Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
Gordon earned his Bachelor’s degree
in Business Administration in 1984 from
Southern Methodist University. He
lives with his wife and four children in
Kansas City. He enjoys being with his
family and coaching youth basketball
in his spare time. He also volunteers
his time to Synergy Services and he is
an active Chiefs Red Coater.
Benjamin J. Panos, CRPC®

Ben joined the Hamilton Retirement
Group at the predecessor firm of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in 2003. Ben
especially enjoys working with clients
in a close, one-on-one relationship,
watching them enjoy retirement after
years of hard work. He works with clients on retirement planning, financial
planning and asset allocation.
Ben’s strong belief in a collaborative
approach grows out of his experience
at Rockhurst University, where he was
a four-year letter winner in basketball.
He graduated with a degree in Finance
and Economics. He is an avid triathlete,
competing in up to 5 events each year. He
and his wife Ali enjoy traveling abroad
and experiencing different cultures.
They reside in Prairie Village, KS.

Chris joined the Hamilton Retirement

regularly meets with families to structure
a strategy that helps meet their goals
in retirement. He enjoys working with
clients as they approach retirement,
believing that this is a phase in life that
people work for all their lives, and that
he can help them enjoy.
Chris graduated from the University
of Kansas with degrees in Communications and Psychology, and he remains
a committed Jayhawks fan. He and
his wife Britton enjoy spending time
with their son Ellis and volunteering
in their church events. They reside in
Prairie Village, KS.
Tom joined the Hamilton Retirement
Group at the predecessor firm of Morgan
Stanley Smith Barney in 2002, focusing on the transition between work
and retirement. Tom especially enjoys
working with our clients once they reach
retirement, helping them understand
how to reach their goals and maintain
their lifestyle.
Tom graduated from Rockhurst University with a degree in Finance and
Economics and a minor in English. He
is an avid runner, having completed
several marathons. He and his wife
Kelly live in Prairie Village; in their
spare time, they enjoy traveling and
rooting for their beloved Chiefs and
Jayhawks.
