ASSEMBLY PERFORMANCES
30 March
Grade 6
From the Principal’s desk……
Linton School Sports … I would like to congratulate all the children
on their participation and achievements during the Linton Sports.
The children achieved personal bests, participated with great
sportsmanship and seemed to thoroughly enjoy the day. A huge
thank you also to the supporters; parents, grandparents and
friends, as this certainly makes for an engaging and fun day for all
our students.
Head Lice … During the term we have had numerous issues with
regard to head lice. Although we can’t eradicate head lice, as a
school community we can try to control it. With a two week break
about to occur it would be great for everyone to try their best to
control and manage head lice so that we can commence the next
term with no head lice at the school. Likewise, if everyone tried
their best to manage it throughout the term, this would go a long
way to support their decreased incidence of head lice at the
school. It however does require commitment from all families, as
one break out of head lice can unfortunately reinfest more young
people. Thank you for your consideration with this matter.
I wish everyone a wonderful break, an enjoyable Easter and we
look forward to seeing all our students back at school on Monday
16 April.
Trevor
Coins for Kids … The Buninyong Mt Helen Lions Club have been
very supportive of children who unfortunately have been
diagnosed with cancer. I know the children at Napoleons have
been very active in gathering together their spare coins for this
most worthy cause. We look forward to Friday at 1.30pm for the
big line up of coins gathered to see how much we have raised. To
make it a fun event, the junior school council are promoting a
casual dress day this Friday in conjunction with the Coins for Kids
day. Children are welcome to wear casual clothes and donate a
gold coin to this most worthy cause.

Grade 5 Blog!
This week we visited HEAPS of other blogs that
are also taking part in the Blogging Challenge and
left some ‘good’ comments. It was great to see what
other classrooms all over the world are doing.
Check out our picture – it’s a photo of our white-
board where we listed all of the blogs we visited.
Our blog and the Grade 3/4 blog were mentioned
in the Blogging Challenge for our great efforts so
far! Isn’t that great?
