The Scholarships and Advanced Training
Division (SATD) has implemented the
Scholarships
and
Advanced
Training
Information System (SATIS), an automated
management information system that will
enable us to provide substantially more
reliable, efficient and timely services to our
stakeholders.
We have leveraged new technologies,
engaged in partnerships with both local and
international affiliates and streamlined our
business processes to develop SATIS.
Our new makeover will significantly improve
the quality of services that we provide and the
Scholarships Website will become a one-stopshop for SATD services and information.

The Ministry of Public Administration (Scholarships
and Advanced Training Division) is a Public Agency
with direct responsibility for the administration of
Trinidad and Tobago.

the SATD?
• the provision of scholarships and training support
for nationals to pursue tertiary level studies in key
areas targeted toward national development and
the building of our nation’s human resource labour
market
• the management of the scholarship application
and selection process
• the provision of secretariat services for the
Scholarships Selection Committee
• the provision of scholar support services to scholars
or awardees during training programmes
• partnering with stakeholders and key agencies to
skill gaps
• managing the job placement process to ensure
compatibility with contractual agreement and ensuring
that a return on the training investment is realised
• partnering with universities and other institutions
of learning and international organisations to
decide on suitable training programmes to
decrease or eliminate the national skills gap

our new system. If you have not received this email,
