1. What is the Divine Right Theory?
The Divine Right Theory states that God selected the
kings. Therefore, rulers should be treated with
respect.
2. What is the relationship between the King and his lords and what is the form of payment?
The Kings provided sections of lands (fiefs) to
the Lords in exchange for loyalty and military
protection.
3. What is another word for servant?
Another word for servant is vassal.
4. What is the relationship between Lords and Knights?
Lords provided smaller fiefs to Knights. In exchange, knights acted
as soldiers and promised to defend the lords and fight for the king
whenever called upon.
