Pope John Paul II hoped that his assassination was what the third secret was referring to;
However, this quote from the third Fatima secret makes it clear that the Pope is killed, not just an
attempt on his life. Also, it is clear that many Bishops, priests, and laity will be killed. None of
this occurred during the assassination attempt of Pope John Paul II. So, this belief that the third
secret of Fatima refers to the attempted assassination of Pope John Paul II is illogical and
contradictory to the actual prophecy itself.
Daniel 9:26-27, "After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will
have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The
end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed.
He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put
an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes
desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him."
The antichrist will be the Islamic Imam who re-establishes the Caliphate. The people of this
Islamic ruler are the Muslims. The City is Vatican City and/or Rome. What do Catholics know is
the sacrifice? The Holy Eucharist. The Jewish Temple was destroyed in 70 A.D. The Catholic
and modern day Church temple is in Vatican City. This may refer to St. Peter's Basilica or
perhaps Papal Archbasilica of St. John Lateran.
Revelations 1:11 "“Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to
Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.”
All seven of these Churches existed in what is now modern day Turkey. Turkey is a Muslim
nation. All seven of these churches no longer exist.
Revelations 2:12-13 “To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These are the words
of him who has the sharp, double-edged sword. I know where you live—where Satan has
his throne."
Pergamum is located in modern day Turkey. Turkey was the seat of the Islamic Caliphate.
Constantinople was the seat of the Eastern Catholic Church. It was invaded, conquered,
and destroyed by Turkish Muslims. Priests, Bishops, and lay Catholics were murdered and
killed. Constantinople is now Istanbul and to this very day Muslim. Those who are
ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it. It is so sad that the modern Catholic Church
today is blind to what will soon happen to the Vatican City; which is the same thing that
already has happened to Constantinople.
Israel and Judah split into the upper and lower kingdoms. Israel had evil kings that
disobeyed God. Israel was the first to be conquered; while Judah held out longer.
Eventually Judah also disobeyed God and they too were conquered. As Israel and Judah
fell at the hands of the Babylonians and Persians, so did Constantinople fall to the Muslims
who are the descendants of the Babylonians and Persians. The Eastern seat of the Catholic
Church fell into heresy and broke away from Rome. They were conquered first by Islam.
The capital of the Eastern Roman Empire, Constantinople was conquered by the Ottoman
Army, under the command Ottoman Sultan Mehmed II on 29th May 1453. Rome and the
Vatican will also eventually be conquered and fall to Islam. Rome, like Judah, will also
eventually fall.

Since the Fatima prediction in 1917, no Pope has been assassinated; nor was there a mass murder
of priests, bishops, and cardinals, clergy and laity all at the same time. So, your comments are
inconsistent with logic and reason. In addition, you seem to be ignorant of Church/world history
and currents events. Constantinople did fall and Muslim terrorist groups, like ISIS are deadly
serious in their threat and mission to attack and conquer Rome. The Old and New Testament
prophets, scriptures, and Jesus Himself repeatedly prophecy about Jerusalem once again
becoming the center of the Christian world and the conversion of a Jewish remnant to
Christianity. How would this be possibly if some catastrophic event does not change the current
circumstances as Rome being the center of the Catholic/Christian faith and the Jews still in
disbelief of Jesus as the Messiah and the Son of God?
