You will need:
• Empty egg shells
(try to just break off the top to empty them,
so you have a good size shell left to use)
• Felt pens
• Stick-on wobbly eyes (optional)
• Cotton wool
To make them:
Step 1. Wash out the egg shells ready for your
Bingster to decorate, and sit them in the egg box
or egg cups to keep them steady (on a cotton
wool cushion to raise them up a bit if you need to).
Step 2. Draw on some funny faces, using
the stick-on wobbly eyes if you’ve got some.
And don’t forget to give the Eggy Heads names!
Step 3. Put some cotton wool the size of a
• Cress seeds
• An empty egg box or egg cups
cotton wool ball into the shells & dampen it
with some water.
Step 4. Sprinkle cress seeds all over the

there’s lots of light, and wait for the hair to sprout.
It’ll only take a couple of days. To see the
hair fully grow it will take seven sleeps.
Step 6. Because waiting is SO hard, your Bingster
could use our Eggy Head chart to count down
the days. Colour in an egg for each day passed.
Step 7. Add a little bit of water if the cotton wool
dries out, but not too much.
Step 8. Don’t forget to share a photo of your
Eggy Head on our Facebook page and let us
know what it’s called.
Please use caution and your own good judgement about which
steps your Bingster can safely be involved in.
